R32 Recovery Cylinder 9kg Max Capacity
- These take all A2L refrigerants, including R32.
- The maximum fill is 9kg, but we recommend filling to 8kg.
- These are a left hand thread valve and will need an adaptor (GMRT32A).
- They have a dual port valve, and if you use both taps (liquid and vapour) you will need 2 adaptors.
Specifications
It is a legal requirement to carry Hazardous Waste Notes with you when transporting these cylinders if they contain gas. Our cylinders are supplied with 3 copies for you to fill in but you can also download the form from the Data Sheets & Downloads tab below, fill it in on-screen and print!
Please do not overfill these cylinders. The recommended maximum fill weight for recovered refrigerant is 80% of the virgin product quantity embossed on the neck of the cylinder. Collection of overfilled cylinders will be refused on safety grounds.
The tare weight of the empty cylinder can be found stamped on the cylinder.
Use as a Receiver Cylinder: Where the cylinder is used as a temporary refrigerant storage vessel during maintenance operations, do not use excessive heat e.g. naked flames to warm the cylinder to remove the refrigerant. If the cylinder requires heating to remove refrigerant use an approved cylinder heating device. Do NOT overheat the cylinder (Max 35°C). Cylinders found to have scorch marks will result in additional charges being applied.
