Values Day

Values Day

An Awesome Day. Defining our values. Their alignment with our vision. And ultimately, how they can give our customers the best possible experience!

Many of our customers were left intrigued when we closed our office for the morning of 27 September. We’d like to say thank you for your patience with us – we had a memorable and focused session!

We are excited to share with you an insight into an unforgettable morning!

Our Managing Director, Nico Miller, addressed the whole team, throwing his full support behind the event and outlining the Core Business Values.

This was followed by Tristan Miller, who went through the Greenmill values in detail, presenting the specific elements and how they holistically enrich the Greenmill culture. He highlighted how our values differentiate us in the industry, giving us the ability to provide an unrivalled service.

Our focus is to create satisfied customers through a succession of positive interactions with the Greenmill team. This is the backbone of our customer-centricity, which we are passionate to maintain and enhance. Alongside our customers, Greenmill is known for investing in it’s people, or the internal customers as some describe them as. The way we treat our staff is reflected in how they treat our customers.

As a team, we are all pulling together and committed to the same values in our roles at Greenmill. To confirm our commitment, we each signed a framed poster of the Greenmill values before commencing some team-building activities, some to a reasonable degree of hilarity but all to an enhancement of the synergy we experience as a team.

We had some interdepartmental collaboration where our Customer Experience team were tasked with producing alcohol-free mocktails for the other staff, treating them as they would their customers! Whether we had a refreshing Gin and tonic, a creamy Pina colada, or a colourful tequila sunrise, we were all impressed with what could be achieved without alcohol (for recipes, email [email protected])

Not insignificant, were the efforts for charity. A few weeks ago, a charity was picked out of a hat (everyone suggested their chosen charity) and Help for Heroes was selected. The staff here at Greenmill then generously donated a substantial number of items for a raffle and they also bought the tickets! The raffle was an unbelievable success and raised £495!

And last but not least, we all benefitted from the arrival of Little Red – a beautifully converted 1967 Citroen HY fire brigade van… now producing the most spectacular stone-backed pizza you could imagine! An unbeatably delicious finish to a memorable morning!
